‘Speed Racer Adventures’ Volume 1 is out now
i know Speed racer. A few years ago the live action film came out and unlike most people I thoroughly enjoyed it. When I first heard about a graphic novel coming out I hoped I would read it. I was able to get a digital copy Speed Racer Adventures Vol.1 And here’s what I think about it.

The world’s best race car drivers are invited to drive the world’s most advanced artificial intelligence cars. Speed Racer isn’t that driver, and Mac Five isn’t that car, but that won’t stop him from entering that race and winning!
When the richest man in the world uses unlimited funds to build the world’s most technologically advanced car and hires Racer X to run a race he built, the deck is stacked against the speed racer! It’s not going to be an easy race, but with his secret weapon, his friends and family, he has a very good chance to race and win, but he’s going to hedge his bets by using lots of candy! Come for laughs, hi-jinks and amazing car speeds. Go speed racer, go!
I had a lot of fun reading this graphic novel. When Speed prepares for a tough race, someone else decides to do some investigating. At first they just want to find a rare candy but end up stumbling upon something else instead. When this is going on the racing starts and becomes very dangerous indeed. Yet when this graphic novel comes to a close, the truth about someone comes out and the race ends. You can learn more about this graphic novel here.
