Find Yourself February – Positively present

At the beginning of the year, we’re often bombarded with the idea that it’s a time of reflection, but in reality, it’s a time of reflection. While resolutions and reaching new goals (things that are best done in spring, when the world is primed for new beginnings) are encouraged, what we should really be encouraging is turning inward, slowing down, and paying attention to who we are. Finding ourselves is the foundation that needs to be laid so that we can become our best selves in the coming months.

As I pondered this disconnect between the season of rest and the rush of reinvention, I began to wonder, What if we try to understand ourselves instead of trying to fix ourselves this February? What if we got to know ourselves better?

Self-discovery has been on my mind ever since I started working your story It’s back to 2024, so it seems fitting to use this as a guide for this period of self-reflection, which I call “February Find Yourself.” Made not for innovation, but for self-reflection, your story The perfect companion for this season of self-discovery.

Many of us love journals or books your story At the beginning of the year with the hope that they will guide us in the coming months. But then we failed to pick them up. We might do a page or two, but before we know it, they’re buried under the papers on our desks or tossed on the bookshelf with the promise of coming back someday.

I decided to create Find Myself in February as a way to dust off your story And actually dive into the pages. When it comes to self-discovery, sometimes we just need a little structure.

Do I have to sort the pages?

While I personally think it’s helpful to keep a schedule, there are no rules when it comes to finding yourself in February. You can do the pages in order. You can do other pages that you feel more attracted to. You can start in February. You can start in May. Anything that gets you to open a journal, grab a pen and start writing and coloring is great.

Don’t feel pressured to finish by a certain time or follow a schedule I set. It is meant to be a guide to help you (and me!) get to the heart of who we really are You make the rules.


Should I share my page?

There’s no pressure to share your pages (after all, self-discovery can be a very personal thing!), but if you want to share Pinterest, Instagram, X, Facebooketc., tag them with #FindYourselfFebruary So that others can see them!


Can non-Swifty join?

Yes, absolutely! You may have noticed that your story Inspired by Taylor Swift’s work. Although the subtitle notes that this is a journal for Swifties, you don’t need to be a Swiftie or know anything about Taylor to enjoy this journal. As you go through it, you’ll see that even though it’s inspired by Taylor Swift’s work, you don’t need to know anything about her to use. your story.


Should I do it alone or with others?

You can definitely do it alone, but it’s also a great way to connect with friends. You can do this with some of your friends and share your pages If you are a therapist, you can use this as a guide for patients. Self-discovery is usually a singular process, but there are no limits. Sometimes having others do it with you will help hold you accountable too!
