YouTube has been a great stream of income for me.
To be honest, I wasn’t aware of how many views YouTube was paying me until recently. I don’t like to get caught up in analyzing my channel because it takes away from my purpose, which is impacting people’s lives.
If I’m too busy making money for my YouTube videos, it changes my purpose. I ended up feeling disconnected from my emotions. Still, I’m grateful for the money I’ve made on YouTube.
I first started on YouTube before YouTube had an ad feature on its platform. Over the years I have witnessed how YouTube has grown. Advertisers spend a lot of money to advertise on channels like mine and others.
On average, a YouTube channel Earn $18 per 1,000 ad views. This equates to $3 – $5 per 1,000 video views. Many YouTubers have taken advantage of this opportunity and turned it into a viable business.
Some YouTubers make millions of dollars every year from advertising their videos. Jimmy Donaldson, the digital celebrity known as Mr. Beast and others Highest Paid YouTubers Secured approximately $211 million in gross proceeds from June 1, 2019 to June 1, 2020.
I thought it would be interesting for me to share some of the income I earn from my videos Also, for those of you who want to become YouTubers, I’d like to give you some tips on how to make one Money making youtube channel.
Check out the video above where I share my computer screen and show you the top two videos that have made me the most money on YouTube!
Overall, I made over $1 million in ad revenue from my entire YouTube channel. However, YouTube is not my primary source of income. I have many other business models that I am involved in, but YouTube makes me a lot of money
People who enjoy my content on YouTube tend to check out the other offerings I have. Here are my top 2 highest earning videos on YouTube.
Top Earning Video #1 – He was earning $40,000 a month at Amazon at the age of 23
In this video, I interview my now-wife, Tatiana, about her success at Amazon. After shooting the video we thought it might get 10-20,000 views. We have been blown away to see that it now has almost 6 million views!
This video has inspired many people to build an Amazon business Even better, many people have made a lot of money from this one video. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing that your content has changed people’s lives.
The estimated income I earned from this video is $87,000 US dollars This video also didn’t have mid-roll ads, which probably means it could have made a lot more money. Keep in mind that earning this kind of money is difficult if you are a beginner YouTuber.
You can never predict which of your videos will go viral. So, it is difficult to replicate such a video. If you have a video that has more than 6 million views, how much you make from it can be based on the topic and niche of the video.
With a video like this, more advertisers may be interested in selling on Amazon Thus, they are willing to spend more money to advertise in front of it. The target market for these advertisers may be business owners or individuals selling on Amazon.
I publish a lot of self-improvement videos. I am not publishing these videos to earn money. Rather, because I want to share impactful content that has the power to change people’s lives. As a YouTuber, I share things relevant to my life and the lives of others. If I can make money at the same time, that’s a bonus.
Top Earning Video #2 – How to Sell on Amazon for Beginners
In this video, I walk people through a step-by-step tutorial on how to build a profitable online business using Amazon FBA for beginners. I firmly believe that Amazon FBA is one of the most life-changing opportunities available today.
This video has 2.1 million views and the estimated income I earned from it is $81,000 US dollars. Interestingly, this video performed better per view than the first video, as it had half the number of views and only made $6,000 less.
But there is a danger in obsessing over how many views you get on YouTube.
This proves that there are more opportunities for advertisers to advertise in front of such videos I have a few other videos in the 5-figure to 1 million view range that are great. Remember that certain topics will earn you more money on YouTube than others.
Some of these video topics include business, marketing, selling on Amazon, investing, and/or real estate. Generally, many advertisers will advertise in front of any video in the financial sector.
However, if you’re a YouTuber, make sure you’re not just making videos for money. I understand that making money is great. I could have made more money if I had made my intention, but I didn’t.
Ultimately, you want to create content on YouTube because it’s something that can impact someone else’s life. It is something that is your passion. At times, I’ve gone off track and chased opportunities to make money.
There’s nothing wrong with doing it now and then. However, if you become too obsessed with making money from videos, you’ll fall into a danger zone. That’s the trend on YouTube – to grab people’s attention with anything.
Unfortunately, taking this path can compromise your values. Balance is the key. Yes, see what’s doing well so you can support people more
However, make sure you stay true to yourself. More importantly, always put other people’s needs above your own. If you can do this, I believe you will be successful in your YouTube endeavors.
