Bring on the spring weather and CBK (Caroline Bessett-Kennedy) can inspire trends. it is started last spring, His inspiration on the runway, and as Ryan Murphy, continues in multifold strength this spring season love story The series is currently airing on FX. I have to admit, I’m quite enjoying the series and being transported back to the 90s – music, fashion, life without smart phones, a different era, but the style was still quite timeless in many ways (not all, but quite a bit).

As well as the cool neutral trend being worth the investment, so too are silk scarves – literally worn as scarves or included in draped necklines and dress styles. Bold colors with the perennial styling approach – layering, these trends may be ‘trends’ but they will be reliable style choices for years to come.

Enjoy seven trends to invest in this season and our spring shopping guide here on the blog alongside the new signature style series (Part Three (posted just yesterday), shopping with an eye for quality, saving items you love and waiting or collecting them as budget allows – this month for me the series is exploring sticking to the 12-month approach to an item, but it will be a worthwhile item!

Here’s what you’ll find in this season’s shopping guide:

  • A list of new trends Worth the investment (in other words, they will last for many years and change well with previous seasons).
  • 70+ shoppable, hand-picked items
    • Simply hover and click on shoppable items and the brand and price will pop upClicking will take you directly to the shopping site to explore the item further.
      • Note: There are a handful of items that don’t have a link when you hover over them Links for these items are listed just below the image
  • Post from the TSLL archive to provide more Style inspiration And signature style inspiration

When you shop, don’t forget to save while using rakuten (Batta), and if you find something you like, but aren’t ready to buy it yet, be sure to save it. Work now. I love using this app and have saved oodles for years because it sends me an email alert, alerting me to items I’ve saved when they go on sale. And another reminder when you’re shopping, maybe even if the new collections aren’t available for applied discount codes, I always search for potential coupons using Karmano, as well as simply searching for the item + sale name in my browser’s search bar, to see if another site is carrying this item at a discount (e.g. department stores). It happens to be the end of the seasonal shopping season, but I’ve made some great savings by being patient and looking for potential savings.
