Love is a scam, we women love to fall for scams.
If your first love story as a child was The Little Mermaid, then you must have experienced what I am about to describe.
I was so excited to get my first story. The Little MermaidBut after I finished it my excitement stopped.
As a child and an empath, I was deeply saddened and depressed to learn that she sacrificed everything for a prince who didn’t even know he existed.
I hated the other girl he chose, I hated him, and I hated men.
However, as I grew up, my perspective changed.
The Little Mermaid was stupid!
Yes, you heard right.
He was stupid, just like you and me when we first fell in love.
Love is a sacrifice; We have to sacrifice to earn it.
And even when we do, we don’t really earn it.
This was the embedded message we watched in many movies and read in many stories.
And if it doesn’t, then the other message is:
We must be submissive, be very good to those who harm us, and maybe a prince will save us from poverty, and in return, we must save him from his demons!
When I was little, I thought the Little Mermaid was unlucky.
But now, I don’t think so.
And I’m also against those stupid movies that make the other woman the villain because, in reality, male or female, anyone who falls into the fantasy of being chosen is unfortunately rejected.
Those stories defined our love that, when we were able to explore them, we were so disappointed.
Love is a fraud!
Women were not supposed to marry only for love.
But for me to explain it, I have to explain what love means to us women and how we are raised to perceive it and expect it.
